Not medical care
CoachKW helps coaches organise their coaching. It is not an emergency service, a medical device or a diagnosis tool, and it does not replace care from a licensed doctor or physiotherapist.
Before you start a plan
Tell your coach about any injuries, pain, medication, pregnancy or medical advice you have been given before you follow a plan. Coaches should pause the plan or refer you to a specialist if something sounds wrong.
Pain and form videos
Pain scores, exercise videos, progress photos and coach comments are there to guide your coaching. They stay in your private workspace unless you clearly agree to something else.
Nutrition guidance
Nutrition targets, meal plans, recipes and meal notes are general coaching guidance unless they come from a licensed professional. The calories and macros shown for foods, recipes and meal plans are estimates: they can differ from the product you buy and from how you cook and portion it. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have a history of eating disorders or take regular medication, ask a doctor or dietitian first.
Videos from YouTube
Exercise and cooking videos that your coach or nutritionist shares come from YouTube. They are general demonstrations made by other people, not medical advice, and CoachKW does not review them. Stop if something hurts, and ask your coach or nutritionist before changing a movement or a recipe.
Emergencies
If you have chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, a sudden injury or a severe allergic reaction, stop exercising and call 112 straight away.
What we expect from coaches
- Coach within your qualifications and experience.
